Business Class: Lufthansa vs Emirates vs Singapore Airlines

Three Philosophies of Premium Travel
Business class has long moved beyond a wide seat with champagne. It's a full-fledged product with its own ideology. Let's compare three leaders.
Seats and Privacy
Singapore Airlines sets the standard. On the A350 and 777, seats come with closing doors and lie fully flat into a 198 cm bed. Every seat is a mini-suite.
Emirates on the Boeing 777 offers 1-2-1 seats with direct aisle access. They convert to a flat bed. Bonus — an onboard bar and showers (in First, but business class impresses too).
Lufthansa has refreshed its long-haul product: new Allegris seats with doors, multiple configuration options (including a couples seat and a window seat with extra space).
