Piaggio Aerospace is at Italian aircraft manufacturer with a history dating back to 1915, although perhaps best-known today for the development and production of the Piaggio P.180 Avanti twin turboprop business aircraft.
Piaggio Aerospace was placed into receivership in 2018, although it received upward of $900m in orders from the Italian Government and others in 2019 which would lead to the revitalization of its balance sheet. Following the success of the orders, the Piaggio Aerospace company has been put up for sale in Feb 2020 with hopes to complete a deal by the end of the year.

The Piaggio Avanti Evo is a unique corporate aircraft propelled by 2 ‘pusher’ turboprops, a revolutionary design that delivers the fastest production turboprop in the market (402 kts) with an operating cost up to 30% lower than similar size business jets.
The Piaggio Avanti Evo can be configured as an 8 seat (2 crew + 6 club passenger seats), a corporate shuttle configuration with 4 rows of forward-facing passenger seat (2 crew + 8 passengers), or a special mission surveillance, territorial control and environmental protection aircraft.
The Piaggio Avanti Evo has a max range of 1,490 nm with a max cruise speed of 402 kts, powered by 2 x Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66B engines. The Avanti Evo extended range variant can achieve a max range of 1,770 nm.
