Airbus Helicopters (previously known as Eurocopter / Aerospatiale) is the leading manufacturer of turbine helicopters across all categories. Airbus helicopters is known for its utility, air ambulance, offshore oil and gas, and VIP helicopters.

Airbus has recently launched the ACH (Airbus Corporate Helicopters) program for the design and development of VIP helicopter interiors and exteriors for private clients. The ACH program has previously led to partnerships with Mercedes Benz Design and most recently Aston Martin with the limited edition H130 (previously EC130).

The offshore oil and gas industry make up a large proportion of the Airbus Helicopters production with high density long-range helicopter types such as the H160, H175 (EC175) and H215 (AS332) Super Puma helicopters.

Airbus Helicopters H125, H130 – Light Single

The H125 (AS350 B3e) is the best-selling light single engine turbine helicopter in the market, known for its hot, high and heavy performance, the aircraft is widely adopted by utility operators globally, for spot firefighting, sling loading and in many cases heli-skiing operations. The H125 has 6 seats (pilot + 5) a cruise speed of 136 kts and a max range of 341 nm.

The H130 is based on the H125 with the same dual-FADEC Safran (Turbomeca) Ariel 2D powerplant, although it stands apart from the H125 with its wider cabin including 7 seats (pilot +7), its distinctive Fenestron (enclosed) tail-rotor. The H130 has a cruise speed of 125 kts and a max range of 333 nm.

The H155 (EC155) is a medium lift twin turbine helicopter developed from the AS365 Dauphin helicopter. The H155 has a max seating configuration for 15 (2 crew + 13 passengers) and a max range of 423 nm. Its distinctive design, Fenestron tail-rotor and long range make it an ideal VIP Helicopter platform.

The H160 is touted as the safest, smoothest and quietest helicopter ever built. The clean sheet design has made significant advancements in technology relating to pilot workload and safety. The Airbus H160 has a maximum seating configuration of 14 (2 crew + 12 passengers) max cruise speed of 155 kts and an expected range of 460 nm.
